ABOUT DEV SAMAJ
The Dev Samajwas founded in 1887 by the Most Worshipful Bhagwan Dev Atma. The fundamental objective of Dev Samaj is to make us more and more capable, loyal to the community, honest and respectful and propagation of Truth, Beauty and Goodness in thought; speech and action among all classes of people, irrespective of any consideration of caste, creed, color and country.
Bhagwan Dev Atma was the pioneer reformer who opened a High School for Girls at Ferozupur in 1901. The Dev Samaj Managing Council continued the educational work and at present the Dev Samaj Society is running about 27 educational institutions in the country.
About School
When we started the Dev Samaj Public School in 2006, the world had already stepped into the 21st Century. Our thoughts and ideas were already impacted with the innovation which came with the start of a new millennium, a new era. Hence it will not be unfair to say that SMS is truly a newborn of the 21st Century.
Our core educational values are based on age old principles of education, but have been molded to meet the challenges of the years ahead. In our view, when our children grow up and enter into adulthood, they must be prepared to face life ahead of them. In view of same, we make a lot of the choices in our School policies and accordingly methods are shaped by the view we hold of the future ahead of us.
